Steffin Hill Extension

During my childhood, the longest our family ever lived in one place was from 1957 to 1967 when we lived on Steffin Hill Extension. The house had a large lot and a lovely view of the western Pennsylvania hills. It was while living there that I began writing letters. In this blog I continue the tradition, with irregular updates on my life and times.

Well, I hope I've not been disappointing my multiple millions of readers by not posting the last five or six weeks. Busy. Vacation. Life. Etc. Top stream-of-consciousness bullet points from that time period: (1) watched a black bear barrel across the road just in front of us in Shenandoah National Park (2) n NY state, watched a wild turkey about 80 yards away from us take off and, flapping hard, skim six feet off the ground for some distance.
