Alrighty then. What to write, what to write. Actually a topic is right before my mind's eye as a result of my just reading a post from Mark Steyn's website. It's a Good Friday theme, a retrospective review of Mel Gibson's The Passion of Christ.
Why this interests me is that Steyn is a favorite of mine on the National Review website, where he ordinarily comments on public affairs. Born Canadian but now living in the USA, he's clever and entertaining and usually makes sense. The aforementioned review gives us a peek into Steyn's religious beliefs. While he never states them, they can be surmised. Rather encouraging to discover another public believer (of some form or fashion) who writes well and with passion. Too many dunderheads there be who aspire to represent Faith, so hooray for the Mark Steyns and C.S. Lewises and J.R.R. Tolkeins and Kathleen Norrises who are or were gifted to present Truth with rigor and beauty.
