Steffin Hill Extension

During my childhood, the longest our family ever lived in one place was from 1957 to 1967 when we lived on Steffin Hill Extension. The house had a large lot and a lovely view of the western Pennsylvania hills. It was while living there that I began writing letters. In this blog I continue the tradition, with irregular updates on my life and times.

Not much to write today for some reason. Well I could simply go newsy and breezy and list some of what was accomplished on this Saturday:

(1) Went to supermarket in the a.m., pleased that I beat the rush. It only started getting crowded late in the visit.

(2) Made a gargantuan, sextuple chili recipe with lots of good stuff in it. The mammoth pot simmers on the stove as I write. Most will go into the freezer...

(3) Read a number of political columns online.

(4) Prepared for the arrival of a neighbor (in about five minutes) for eggnog and a chat.

I've run out of items and time, so bye bye...
