Steffin Hill Extension

During my childhood, the longest our family ever lived in one place was from 1957 to 1967 when we lived on Steffin Hill Extension. The house had a large lot and a lovely view of the western Pennsylvania hills. It was while living there that I began writing letters. In this blog I continue the tradition, with irregular updates on my life and times.

So today, since the weather was to be perfect, we decided to drive to Lake Louise in Banff National Park and hike to the top of the Big Beehive by way of Lake Agnes. It was 10 kms (6 miles) altogether, plus the elevation gain. Amazing view of Lake Louise from up there--with its distinctive aquamarine color. But man were we tired at the end of it. May have pushed the envelope just a little too much.
