Steffin Hill Extension

During my childhood, the longest our family ever lived in one place was from 1957 to 1967 when we lived on Steffin Hill Extension. The house had a large lot and a lovely view of the western Pennsylvania hills. It was while living there that I began writing letters. In this blog I continue the tradition, with irregular updates on my life and times.

Hmmmm. I've got a suspicion that I may sometimes be mixing up the Farenheit and Celsius readings in what I report here. Last Sunday, for instance, I'm pretty sure it reached -23C, not -23F, as I said it was supposed to do. This stems from the way the Weather Channel sets up their feed as it appears on Yahoo. (That's my excuse, and I'm stickin' to it!)

However you slice it, let me assure you, it is COLD.

I went and checked for ya. Weather.com has the observed low for that Sunday at -20 F, with a high of -15 F (wow, heat wave!) Not much of a difference between F and C, though-- -26 C for the high and -29 C for the low.

As you said, either way, it's cold! :)
