Steffin Hill Extension

During my childhood, the longest our family ever lived in one place was from 1957 to 1967 when we lived on Steffin Hill Extension. The house had a large lot and a lovely view of the western Pennsylvania hills. It was while living there that I began writing letters. In this blog I continue the tradition, with irregular updates on my life and times.

Ah, thank you Lord. Dodged another bullet. I reached the aforementioned party and arranged an interview for Wednesday (soonest time possible).

You know the old saying, "Hope for the best; prepare for the worst?" That's me.

By the way, one of the characteristics of people as they get older is that they tend to worry more because, due to life experience, they know all the things that can go wrong.

Younger people, of course, don't worry so much along those lines and instead worry along other lines. (And because of that sense of invulnerability, their car insurance rates are higher.)

Anyhow, I'm enjoying this moment but now, nonetheless, must get to work writing as much of the article as I can write at this stage. Time is of the essence.
