The summer weather continues to linger here and the plan for this morning is to drive about ten minutes north to a place where we can walk along forest paths with the changing leaves and maybe find our way down to one of the branches of the Don River. (This, I never tire of reminding myself, is part of what makes Toronto great: large areas right in the city that have been left as parkland or forest land for our enjoyment. They used to call Toronto "the city in a forest.")
Afterwards we'll mosey over to a No Frills supermarket where we'll muscle our way in to grab fruit and vegetable bargains or patiently wait for people to get out of the way in the narrow aisles. (Such is the price for getting the best deals...)
In any case, without any further ado, I'm now going to head for the shower so we can get the show on the road.
