Steffin Hill Extension

During my childhood, the longest our family ever lived in one place was from 1957 to 1967 when we lived on Steffin Hill Extension. The house had a large lot and a lovely view of the western Pennsylvania hills. It was while living there that I began writing letters. In this blog I continue the tradition, with irregular updates on my life and times.

I came across an essay about the economic crisis that put into words things I have thought evangelicals (and others) need to think about long and deeply. The writer is Andy Crouch (who recent wrote a book about Christians doing "culture-making" that I want to read, for sure) and he says stuff I'm always mulling over and want to communicate somehow, some day, the best I can.
